This whole Casey Anthony case has underscored how disconnected I am with what’s “going on” in America these days. I never heard the woman’s name or word one about her crime until the verdict was returned this week.

Upon learning the facts of the case, I was saddened, and maybe a little angry, but at no point did I decide to compare murdering a living, breathing human being to destroying a small cluster of tissue cells.

Maybe that makes me even more out of touch with America these days. Or maybe every single man pictured above is a huge asshole and not representative of the population as a whole. I hope it’s the latter.

Never underestimate the depths of ignorance. Notice how most of the links go directly to The Onion and not a re-blogger. Why bother redacting names from these images? If you’re so stupid you believe The Onion is a real news source, your identity should be broadcast publicly.
